Assalammualaikum, today until 9am I did'nt get work so just waiting my for new task. This week is my last week, I'm feel so sad to leave Felda I felt comfortable to work here with friendly people and nice. than my friends like wants to continue our internship until end of mount so I need to decide I want to follow them or not because I need to go back home, I need to settle a few think.

Salam.. this morning I still didn't task so I just continue blog and read newspaper. Than I just collect faxing paper. After that I got tender to check, after lunch hours I help our department to prepare for birthday even for this Thursday. We need to create our hall by using batik theme, this even will invite our CEO of  FPI so we need to do the best.

Assalammualaikum, this morning I still didn't get any task. So I just continue doing decoration for this even hopefully they will like it. Yesterday I work extra time until 9.30pm just prepare for this even, today maybe same.  Finally, after lunch hours I got task to do as usually check tender file.hahhahaha ;)

Salam, tomorrow is my last day , Im felt so sad to leave FELDA. I'm happy to work here with all friendly staff in this FPI department. Even I know my english not so good but I try to improve it day by day, I accepted what people say and I WILL IMPROVE it, I WILL... now 39 days I in FPI department many thing I learn here relationship, working life style, job perspective and others. Today this morning until lunch hours I busy with this birthday celebration day, after lunch hours I got lots of tender files to check. After that I continue writing my journals, collect faxing paper and see all boss in my department.

Today I learn about send purchase requisitions to vendors and get the prices from them. Print the PR , than I send a purchase to selected vendors. Than  waiting reply back from them. After lunch hour, I just checking a few file tender than I just continue to write my blog and read on-line paper.

Salam, this morning I send purchase requisitions to vendors and get the prices from them. Print the PR , than I send a purchase to selected vendors. After get all the information, I makes a summary by list down all the list prices and choose the lower offer price. After lunch hour, not much work I do just create a Purchase requisitions.

Salam, today is my evaluation day, which is En.Adam my industrial training supervisor come to evaluate me. I'm felt so scared yesterday I can't sleep and and just think for tomorrow. En.Adam arrived in my office around 10.30am. During my presentation I think I'm doing well hope I can get good marks because this is my final year so I need to score to cover back my result last year. No work for today, I just help my senior and collect faxing paper from faxing machine.

Salam, tomorrow is public holiday so many staff take on-leave early so I need to take over  my friends place in tender room. Tender room is the place where all vendors comes to buy a tender. My job is ask them to fill the form approval, collect the check or bank draft and than give a file tender to vendors base on their categories. I also need to pick up phone for tendering department. This is my routine for today not much work. Lastly make a wish for your new year, be much better for the next year..

Salam... This morning my second supervisor En.Norizan invite me to go within to see open day Felda Global. We go there at 8.40 am at Dewan Merak Kayangan. Felda Global Strategy Lab Open Day, this open day officiated by YBhg. Tan Sri Dr Mohd Yusof Noor, Chairman of Felda. From this open day, I can see the environment business for example their long term-plan which is Felda Global want to achieve double profit in 2015. Collaboration strategies with others others country like India, China and others. Felda global new revenue, project honest, implementation and others. When I hear speech from Dato' Sabri Ahmad  CEO Felda Global, I attracted the last word from he speech, which says in Chinese  Proverb "When planning for a year, plant corn.When planning for a decade, plant tress. When planning for life, train and educate people". After lunch hour, I didn't get any task just collect a PR paper from fax machine, create a purchase requisition (PR).

Today, I get task from En.Rahim. He ask me to create a Purchase Requisition (PR) than En.Hisham pass up to me tenders. Today I need to check many tender file because tomorrow have interview for selected vendor. That why I see he so busy today. After lunch hour I just continue checking the file tenders. After finish check all the files I just continue my assignment  and collect the fax paper. That all work for today and see tomorrow.

Salam, this morning I just get work from En.Hisham, like normally I just check the correction in every vendor file. After finish it I just continue read the on -line newspaper and doing summary for business articles.  This is for International Business assignment during semester break. After lunch hour, I help my senior to photostat the vendor file and contract. After that, I need to binding all this paper and failing it for each categories. Than I help my second supervisor En.Norizan to collect the receiving fax quotation from vendors. Sometimes I like to talk with the staff in this department and helps them to minimize their works. I also asking them about the works, experiences and others.

Salam.....good morning everybody, just sit a few minute in my table En.Hisham give me lots of files than I need to finish it before I go back home. Yes, i like it now I got lots work to do now for me so I not felt sleepy. I think when we always checking the correction we can be more alert when writing or reading. This is because when we always do fast scanning we can practice to more concern and alert. Sometimes I think it's hard to writing a report for all days because I don't know what should I write on it. This is because we doing the same thing just different on vendor, item, price and others related on it.

Assalammualaikum, today is Wednesday.  Not much work compare than yesterday I just helps En.Rahim to create PR than print PR. I also get work from En.Hisyam but just a few file tender need to check. Than I just help En.Jefry to store all the data about invoice. After lunch hour I just get only two quotation to do a purchase requisition (PR). Than I just continue reading the on-line newspaper and read the module FPI. That only my jobs for today.See you tomorrow....

Salam, not work for this morning so I just doing reading and do assignment for IB subject summary articles business. Near the lunch hour I just get two only tender that need to check. Than I see En.Norizan and asking him about this FPI department, he told me that FPI have five department here such as:

1. Fresh fruit bunch (BTS) Department
2. Procurement Department
3. Human resources Department
4. Financial Department
5. Operation Department

After lunch hour not much work can do just normal routine, like photostat, collect paper from fax machine and pass up to executive through their expertise.

Today I don't have work to do, so I just read the procurement manual book. This manual book use as guideline and rules that all the member of Felda Palm Industries (FPI) have to follow in order to get the stock, services and criteria for vendor. For make a deal with Felda all the vendor must register before they can buy a tender and it also have selected criteria according the rules in tendering. 

This vendor have grade and site such as:

1. Engineering
2. Agriculture
3. Stock
4. Services
5. Computer
6. Transportation

Grade for vendor will based on value of the project:

1. Grade 1 is  for project worth RM 50,000
2. Grade 2 is for project worth < RM 50,000 - RM 100,000
3. Grade 3 is for project worth < RM 100,000 - RM 300,000
4. Grade 4 is for project worth < RM 400,000 - RM 500,000
5. Grade 5 is for project worth < RM 500,000 - RM 1Million
6. Grade 6 is for project worth < RM 1 Million - RM 3Million
7. Grade 7 is for project worth < RM 3Million - RM 5Million
8. Grade 8 is for project worth < RM 5 Million

This is some of the information have inside this manual book. This is how we divided vendor by its categories Than  next is the job offer process. While I'm study this manual book, En. Rahim give list of item that need to order. So I need to use SAP system to create a purchase requisition (PR) . Today I just create a PR and Print the PR. Tomorrow is my birthday.

Today is my birthday, I got a lots of wishes from my friends and what make me happy is my friends and him celebrate my birthday waw... so special. My family also wishes me IM SO HAPPY hehehehe...

Now, back to my routine in Internship. Today I just stores  in all the invoice data in MIRO systems.  Than I continue study about  job offer process such as budget, work specification,  working budget,  approval offer, interview, open form tender, open tender,  judgment offer,  interview bid, accepted bid, contract, change contract, terminated contract, payment contract and fine.Today I just  work half day because our bos announce that working hour for today only half day. This is because he want to give change for their staff to go back early to prepare for hari Raya Aidiladha.

2nd Week In Internship

This is my 2nd week  in Felda Palm Industries..En Hisham told me that our Procurement department is one of the busy department compare from others department. Yahh.. day by day I agree what he said all my executive always busy with their vendor call and call so I have a lot of work to do. My routine almost the same like previous day,study about purchase requisition, purchase order,contract and others.

Today, my second supervisor give me a two module to read which is Plant Maintenance and Material Management
Plant Maintenance
This module is about the early step in maintenance process for this company. Which is it show the steps to create maintenance order through the stock, non stock, external service and maintenance order. Next, is material management and the end of this steps is finance.
Material Management
This module shows the steps how to do Goods Issue, Release PR, Create PO/SPK, Goods Receipt and Enter Invoice.
Finance
Print cek or baucer and others.

Today my 1st supervisor  invite me go to FPI workshop in Shah Alam with senior  from department engineering, prodata and factory. Tuan haji said he wants me to see the real environment in FPI workshop. We go there around 9.30am and arrived there around 10.30am. After arrived there, we having a breakfast with the bos in Shah Alam workshop. Back to office Tuan haji introduces me to En. Karim he is senior engineering in this workshop.Than we go to fabrication workshop, En Karim brief me a little bit about the history of this workshop. After that he show me all the machine in this workshop also its functions. This workshop doing a cages that are using to stem all the fresh fruit bunch. All this cages will send to all factory FPI that are produces palm oil. I also can see the real process to makes the cages in this workshop. En Karim also explain to me about the hydrolic, gearbox others. A lot of things he had tell me before I going back to office. For me this is a great moment for me many thing I can learn from this workshop.


After lunch, we go back to office. Than I compile all the information that En.Karim had giving to me about the workshop. Not much work for today, so I help Kak Sakinah to do her work just put the letters into envelop better than no works right. So what works for tomorrow I just cant wait heehhehe....

Today we quick late to work,we arrived here at 8.25 so sorry stuck in traffic congestion. En Rahim ask me to help him to do a purchase requisition and purchase order. Than I continue to read a material management module. I had brief little big about the material management last Monday. But today I deeply study about this module. this module have the information the material group code for each item between the new products and old products. Others, purchase requisition in this system it have create,display, change and print. Purchase order, good receipt, good issues, printing, physical inventory and inventory reports. This module show us the step to do all the PR and PO and others. Not much I can say cause my routine all most the same every day.

Today is my younger sister birthday. I wish all her dream will come true and everybody around her also happy  and get what they wants. Now, my back to my routine in internship. This morning I still not get much works just help my executive En.Hisham to check the vendor files. For each file I need to check the spelling, deposit amount for payment and related on it. After finish check all the files I go to nana table just want to know what she doing,  i see she also did no have lots work to do. After that, I go back to my seat than try to ask my second supervisor if I can help him or maybe have any work to do. No work for this moment,so I continue read the on-line newspapers.
After lunch hours, I went to Diana table and see what she doing and I learn a little big the step to do write out  the purchase order under En.Mat Rabi, he handle all the project in Ulu Jempol and Shah Alam.

Friday morning, here I'm just doing the same task helps my executive to check the vendor file for tendering and doing a PR and PO by using the SAP system. I heard that this SAP system is the famous systems that many big company use this systems. Wow I'm so impress and I felt so lucky I can learn this system under my department. I think that, I need to further study about this systems. Hopefully I can know any institute can offer this course for short term. Today I lunch with all staff procurement, boss and with Tuan Hj Muhammad  Osman Senior Manager procurement. After lunch not much work I can do,  just the same work like this morning. Actually this only work I allowed to do others is private. Happy weekend ,today  after work I'm  going back to my hometown in Gopeng. See you next Monday my Felda.

1st Week In Internship

This is my 1st day I attend my Internship, I fell so nervous but here I'm doing my internship with fellow friends Nana, Ain, Arizma and Izzati. We arrived here around 7.45 am. My friend Nana are in  the same department in Felda Palm Industries. I was introduces with FPI staff to En.Hadi Nawiri he is the staff that handle for practical students in this department.

Around 8.30 am, En hadi introduced me to En. Mohamad Osman Senior Manager in Felda Palm Industries. He very friendly, than En.Mohamad was explain to us about background Felda Palm Industries. But today our department still in renovation so we just allowed to stay in visitor room and En.Mohamad say we will get our table after finish the renovation. In fact, we just stay in visitor room until finish working hour.

Today is second day we in Felda Palm Industries. This morning we see again Tuan hj.Mad, he give us a profile about Procurement department. Today we still in visitor room and study about this profile, but Tuan Hj Mad said he try find place for us before that we need stay here. Today, we meet new friends from this department she name is Diana and Habibah they have teach us a little big about operation in this department.

After having lunch with my friends, I go back to my department and continue my revision. Hopefully, we can get our table as soon as possible..... so bored stay here nothing we can do or help. We here our friends all ready get own table wahhh so jealous... we waiting for tomorrow with hopes and passion to start work heheheh...

Today we can enter to our department. My position in Contract and Procurement department (Perolehan) and Nana was tranfers to MIS department but we still under the same department. Finally, I get my own table around me is executives in this department so scared hehehe. In front me is En Hishammuddin Othman handle contract and tendering, beside him is En Mokhtar Ali, En Rahim and En Mat Rabi. Besides me is my second supervisor he name is En.Norizan he very cool and nice person.

New slide in my life, now I study about operation in this department like tendering, doing the purchase requisition, purchase order, create good receipt and others. My job is to helps my executives work like checking, doing PR and Po and others. You want know my task:

Contract and tender

- Check all the detail for every project file if have correction i need to correct it.
- Calculate the deposit tender and duration date of the project and others.

Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order

- Using the SAP system to create all the information, change,print and others

- also use the SAP system this process is continued from PR and PO process.

Today I get a lot of work under En.Hisham. I need to check all the tender under Felda palm Industries. I study about the procedure in tendering, doing calculation for project progress time, calculate the deposit payment for each projects and others. If fell so happy I got a work to do now and so exited but I need to carefull while checking all the details. You know what, I really surprise I don't think that En.Hisyam buy me food for lunch wahhh heheheh. Today is the last day for this week because tomorrow is Deepavali so I going back to my hometown after work. see you next week Happy Deepavali....
